Following Azerbaijan’s independence, BTE evolved into a modern facility, employing advanced machinery from Germany and Japan to produce high-quality military attire meeting NATO standards. Today, BTE not only fulfills large government orders but has also expanded internationally, exporting products to Europe, China, and the U.S. With over 700 employees across multiple production units, BTE continues to support Azerbaijan’s armed forces and other national security agencies with durable, high-performance uniforms and equipment tailored to challenging conditions.

Ganja Textile

In the early years of our independence, like other industrial enterprises, the Ganja Textile Factory (formerly known as the Weaving Combine) also went through a period of decline. “Ganja Textile” JSC was established on June 12, 2004, as “Ganja Weaving” JSC. It became “Ganja Textile” JSC on December 21, 2004. Modern equipment from developed countries was brought in within a short period, and efforts to train new qualified personnel began. Extensive reconstruction and development work was carried out at the enterprise, which was founded in 1926. The hard work paid off in a short time. The factory produces its products using 90% of newly updated equipment, based on local raw materials. The fields of activity are the production of textile products and hygroscopic cotton. The products are made from Azerbaijani cotton. There are six production workshops operating at the factory, where sliver undergoes certain processes and is then used to produce fabric in the weaving section. The fabric is carefully washed, rolled, and then sent to pharmacies for sale.
