The Azerbaijan Textile Association (ATA) is the only non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the development of the country’s textile sector. Established in 2018, ATA has united companies engaged in cotton and textile production, promoting compliance with international standards and enhancing the global competitiveness of Azerbaijani textiles. Through collaboration with international partners, the introduction of new technologies, professional workforce training, and active participation in global markets, ATA has built a strong platform for innovation, sustainability, and growth in the textile industry in Azerbaijan.

ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE MANUFACTURERS FEDERATION (ITMF)

The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) was founded in 1904 and is currently the leading global forum that connects the entire textile value chain in more than 40 countries worldwide. Representing the majority of global textile production, ITMF provides essential data, indicators, and analytical insights, guiding global investment and policy decisions.

The Federation plays a key role in promoting sustainability, digital transformation, and the transition to a circular economy, while also acting as a trusted advisor for governments and institutions. Through its global conferences and networking opportunities, ITMF amplifies the voice of the textile industry at the highest international level.

This seminar is the first ITMF event to be held in Azerbaijan and is jointly organized with ATA. It marks a significant milestone for integrating the country’s textile sector into the global ecosystem.
